All around us, there are ancient tales of darkness; urban legends that are designed to inspire and frighten impressionable souls. Yet they are only stories, legends and remnants of a time long ago. In the World of Darkness, those ancient horrors actually stalk the land. Mysterious old witches haunting forest hollows, vampires that seek the blood of innocents, monstrous creatures which worship the mad designs of the moon, ethereal creatures which feed on the dreams of others. All these possibilities and more await those who tread ever-so-softly on the borders of strange realms.

Dark Providence is a game about a world gone mad. Amongst trash-strewn streets and the hopelessness of the masses, darker beings walk and prey upon the unsuspecting. It is a place of great history and even darker secrets; secrets which desperately seek the light of day, while the perpetrators of those secrets seek to keep the world from knowing the truth. The question really comes down to this: are you someone who lives their life in blissful ignorance? Are you one of the products of this mad world, a living legend stalking through darkened streets? Or are you perhaps a solitary soul who has witnessed the truth and tries to protect others, or simply understand what is happening around you?
